This deep commitment to service inspired Theresa to mentor single mothers—resilient women brimming with potential yet often trapped in survival mode due to low-wage jobs, limited childcare, and scarce educational opportunities. Determined to help them thrive, she posed a transformative question: What if we could create a clear, accessible, and sustainable path to success? This vision gave rise to The LegacyMoms Project LLC.

Theresa brings extensive expertise in product development, grassroots advocacy, and community leadership to her mission. Her unique ability to connect authentically while leading with strategic clarity establishes her as a trusted collaborator and a powerful voice in the empowerment space.

As far back as I can recall, I’ve been pulled toward caring for others. At nine years old, I was "let me, let me" when it came time to feed the dog, I just loved seeing how happy he was at dinnertime. By eleven, I found myself curled up on the floor beside the couch, keeping vigil next to my mother as she battled pneumonia. I was too young to really understand how I might help, but somehow l knew I needed to be there. That quiet, unshakable instinct to care for others has always  been my compass through every chapter of life.

Most profoundly, it guided me through the heartrending journey of caring for my beloved husband during his battle with Alzheimer’s. After 45 years of marriage, I held him in my arms as he took his final breath—at home, surrounded by love, never alone. 

Caring for others isn’t just what I do; it’s the very thread of who I am, woven deep into my being.
